The winners of the ScotlandIS Digital Technology Awards 2017 will be revealed on the 27th April at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow and members of the team are looking forward to attending the dinner. The Awards showcase excellence within the digital industry and reward the innovation, expertise and ambition of businesses, large and small.
The InformedCONSULT© platform, which underpins the National Boundary Commissions’ Online Consultation Portal, has completely overhauled and modernised the traditional boundary review process and enabled a step change in digital engagement with the public. This bold ‘digital first’ approach has resulted in an innovative, digital shared service that has encouraged the public to engage in this key democratic process.
Speaking of the nomination, UK CEO Seth Finegan:
“We are delighted that our work on the Boundary Consultation Portals has been recognised as a finalist by ScotlandIS for the ‘Best Public Sector Product/Service’ Award. During the 2013 review, only 39% of responses to the Government were made digitally, so the fact that 89% of representations in this round of consultation have been made online is extremely encouraging, and suggests that it is proving to be a great success.”
