The majority of our projects involve cutting edge technology, and so you must be a tenacious problem solver with the ability and willingness to deliver enterprise level solutions in complex and uncertain environments.

Skills and Experience:

- Outstanding attention to detail, with the ability to work pro-actively, independently and respond flexibly to changing priorities

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms

- A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

- Experience of leading, coaching and/or mentoring more junior team members

- Experience and understanding of modern software delivery practices (e.g. Scrum, SAFe, DevOps etc.)

- Hands-on technical skills in the development and problem solving of complex, innovative services (e.g. .NET, Drupal, JavaScript, GeoServer, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Amazon Web Services, Linux and Windows Server)

- Working knowledge of Agile practices (e.g. Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Stand Ups, Back Log Refinement etc.)

- Experience of working with spatial data and systems (GIS) is an advantage

- Experience in estimating, planning, resourcing and/or costing projects containing multiple work streams is an advantage

- Good level of commercial awareness, particularly in terms of managing risk, issue management
